We comply with all the sanitary rules and regulations to ensure that our facilities are in top condition. We clean and disinfect regularly, and our university follows strict hygiene protocols to keep everyone healthy and prevent the spread of diseases.

Students can stay connected with our high-speed Wi-Fi and enjoy the perfect temperature all year round with the air conditioning system. You can set the temperature just the way you like it, ensuring you have a pleasant and cozy living space. Your safety is our priority! Each room is securely locked with personal keys, giving you peace of mind and ensuring your privacy. We have also installed smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits throughout the accommodation to ensure your safety in case of an emergency.

Common living space of student accommodation is a stylish and comfortable lounge area, where students can kick back on plush sofas and unwind after a long day of classes. Whether you want to watch a movie, read a book, or have a chat with friends, our common area is the perfect place. We have also created communal study areas equipped with ample desks, chairs, and power outlets, providing students with a productive environment to work on projects or study together with their peers. A shared loggia balcony with a beautiful view provides a peaceful getaway where you can enjoy morning coffee and evening drinks, or relax and appreciate the natural beauty of Malta around you. The furniture of the living room is minimalist and functional, with clean lines and a focus on comfort. It includes a comfortable sofa with throw pillows and a table with a large amount of chairs. There’s a big LED TV, air conditioning, and a modern dining table that’s both practical and good-looking. 

The common kitchen of student accommodation is spacious, clean, and organized. Equipped with top-of-the-line appliances like stoves, ovens, microwaves, and refrigerators, students have everything they need to prepare delicious meals. Our common kitchen also features a chic dining area where students can gather with friends and fellow residents. Student shared bathroom is always clean and well-maintained. We make sure it’s hygienic and comfy for everyone. We’ve provided enough space on the countertops for your bathroom essentials. You can easily keep your toothbrush, makeup, and skincare products organized and within reach. Step into our clean and well-maintained shower cabins, and let the warm water wash away the stress of the day. Shared bathroom fixtures and facilities are functional and well-maintained. This includes proper plumbing, sufficient lighting, and ventilation to prevent dampness and mold. Toilets are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for students comfort. 

Location

At the International European University in Malta, we make sure that our students have a super convenient place to stay right on campus. Our IEU campus in Malta is situated in a beautiful city called Gżira. It’s right in the middle of Malta, between Msida and Sliema. The name “Gżira” means “island” in Maltese, which is fitting since it’s close to Manoel Island. You’ll be able to enjoy stunning views of the historic city walls of Valletta, Manoel Island, the yacht marina, and a gorgeous public garden right by the waterfront. When you need a break from studying, our accommodation is surrounded by green spaces, parks, and peaceful gardens. One of the highlights is the Gżira Gardens, where you can relax on comfy benches, surrounded by beautiful trees and well-kept greenery. It’s the perfect spot to take a leisurely walk, have some quiet time, or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, helping you feel happy and refreshed during your time with us. 

The area around our accommodation is super student-friendly. You’ll find plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. These cafes and restaurants offer a wide range of delicious food, from local Maltese dishes to international cuisine. Safety is Priority

The International European University, Malta is willing to make students living in Malta feel as safe and protected as possible. To ensure the safety of the students, the accommodation has 24/7 security personnel who monitor the premises round the clock. The accommodation is equipped with a pass system, only authorized individuals are allowed to enter the premises. The accommodation area and the main routes students take to travel between the hostel and the educational buildings are protected and patrolled by officers of the guard service. Students move around safely and without any risk of harm. Security cameras monitor the surroundings and detect any suspicious activity.

The IEU, Malta commitment to safety extends to the hostel premises. Each room is equipped with a smoke detector, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits located throughout the accommodation. In case of an emergency, the necessary precautions shall be taken to ensure the safety of the students. 

The International European University, Malta has a comprehensive emergency response plan to handle any unexpected circumstances. The plan is regularly updated and communicated to all students, staff, and faculty members to ensure everyone is prepared in case of an emergency. The plan includes evacuation procedures, emergency contact numbers, and a designated emergency assembly point. The university conducts regular safety drills and training sessions for all hostel residents, faculty members, and staff. These drills help to familiarize everyone with the emergency response plan, and it helps to ensure that everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency.
