About the Genetics Course

The degree course of the Genetics specialty is provided at the first (Bachelor of Arts in Genetics) and Second (Master of Arts in Genetics) levels of higher education. Genetics is the study of DNA, genes, and heredity. It examines gene development, structure, and function in all kinds of living organisms. Plants, animals, humans, and bacteria are all studied as a part of genetics. This branch of biology aims to answer questions about how and why specific characteristics of a species are passed from one generation to the next.
