About the Environmental Design Course

The degree course of the Environmental Design specialty is provided at the first (Bachelor of Environmental Design) and second (Master of Environmental Design) levels of higher education. The goal of the Environmental Design course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to design and plan sustainable built environments that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Environmental Design is a flexible multi-disciplinary degree from the International European University, Malta Campus involving the design and planning of natural and constructed environments. It promotes synergy between objects and settings, built form, and landscape across a range of scales, climates, and cultures. The Environmental Design program offers elective courses in specialized areas of study, such as green infrastructure, ecological restoration, or environmental psychology.
